new year’s resolutions: better late than never?
I’ve been thinking about resolutions for 2012…and this is what I’ve got. I feel good about this!
1. Run the Madison Half Marathon and Chicago Half Marathon. They’re 4 months apart, so that’s definitely doable. I was supposed to be running one at Disney in February, but because of life things getting in the way, that’ll no longer be happening. I stopped mid-training, so I should easily be able to complete this resolution!
2. Eat healthier. A cop out, I know, but for real. I eat out wayyy too much, and it’s expensive and not healthy. I just need to be more conscious of this one!
3. Travel more. With a job, this will easily be fulfilled. I have lots of little trips I want to take stored in the back of my mind, so now is the time to make it happen!
4. Read more books! I kept making excuses for this not happening, but I’ve finished 2 books in the past week and a half, so I’m already on a roll.
5. Knit more. With the help of grandma, this is a recently acquired skill. I want to knit all sorts of things, I just need to actually sit down and do it!
